| Each Crystal Glass Inside-Painting piece was created to ensuring the finest quality and details in the glass sculpture and inside artwork. With a few moments of care, your piece will remain brilliant for a lifetime of appreciation and use. We recommend the following:
General Care
Avoid rubbing or touching the inside-painting. |
Use care to avoid water in the inside-painting. If your piece comes with a separate inner glass tube, be sure it is completely dry before reinsertion. |
Avoid placing your Archelan piece in direct sunlight for an extended period of time to prevent color fading. |
For crystal glass candleholders, we recommend tealight candles surrounded with a protective cup. If you use votive candles, do not let the flame burn all the way down to the glass as the heat may cause it to crack. If wax does spill onto glass, gentle wipe down with denatured alcohol. |
Avoid contact with hard or abrasive materials. You may wish to cover your display areas with protective felt or cloth. |
Cleaning
To avoid scratches, dust and clean with a damp lint free cloth and non-abrasive glass cleaner. |
If you are washing or cleaning any glass tube inserts, please make sure it is completely dry before reinsertion. |
If hard water or mineral stains appear in the frosted stem holder, you can soak with vinegar or with powdered dentifrice in lukewarm water. |
Packaging and Transporting
Each custom box is designed to fit and cushion the crystal glass inside painting piece. We advise that you save and store the original box in order to protect the sculpture during any future shipping or moving. |
Use both hands to raise the piece, preferably using one hand to hold the base while the other hand on the side in a firm and stable manner. Do not lift any piece by holding it solely by extremities or protruding parts. |
